Under the dynamic leadership of our Visionary Directors, Combined Institute of Medical Sciences and Research – CIMS Dehradun governs the departments, run by highly qualified, well experienced, permanent teaching staff as well as distinguished academicians of the region as guest faculty. The present institute campus is spread over in an area of 10,000 sq. meters, which includes the administrative block, library, cafeteria, lecture theatres and laboratories of different departments. Combined Institute of Medical Sciences and Research – CIMS Dehradun is situated on the National highway at Haridwar Road, Dehradun and campus includes separate boys and girls hostels and a huge play ground. The institute is attached with state-of- the art well equipped multi-speciality indoor hospital spread in an area of 60,000 sq. ft on the main Haridwar Road.
Extracurricular activities during the academic year are important contributions to an individual's development. Experience in medical and paramedical areas often contributes to an understanding of health care delivery systems and helps the student's to study medicine. Intercollegiate / interdepartmental debate, quiz and science exhibition competitions in Combined Institute of Medical Sciences and Research – CIMS Dehradun Campus are organized for UG & PG students every year. The winners are suitably rewarded in terms of either cash prizes or with some token of gifts / momentous with Certificates of Merit. Apart from above competitive events, the students are also encouraged to visit scientific organization. The Committee is comprised of teaching faculty from each department as a member, similarly each Division is represented by one senior member.

Attractive Stipend/Scholarship are paid to students during projects work/ internship/ field work during and after the completion of course.
