It was with this idea in mind that Guru Angad Dev Sewa Society decided to set up Guru Angad Dev School of Nursing – Ludhiana. Our main aim is to produce good quality nurses by professional approach, by ensuring quality teaching and training.
Guru Angad Dev School of Nursing – Ludhiana is situated at Clinical training for GNM students has been arranged at Civil Hoshpital, Ludhiana, Vivekanand Hospital and Rajwant Hospital. For community training permission has been obtained from DHS Punjab for traiing at CHC Pakhowal. Guru Angad Dev Sewa Society is also service NGO under National Rural Health Mission for one Lac population under CHC Sahewal. There is facility for community training in this project also. Psychiatric Nursing Training is provided at Kala Nursing Home, Ludhiana.
The institution’s infrastructure is well furnished with all modern facilities. Guru Angad Dev School of Nursing – Ludhiana has a state-of-art Nursing Lab and Computer Lab with 24 Hours internet facility and broadband connection. All the classrooms of institute are well furnished with all modern facilities.
Guru Angad Dev School of Nursing – Ludhiana students also have access to the library of our Medical College, which has a very vast collection of reference books. Our institute also subscribes to journals and makes audio- video material & equipment available to the students. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at college in its various departments.
