Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Institute of Engineering and Technology-GTBKIET was established under the benign patronage of the Late Mahant Baba Tirath Singh Ji, Head Sewa Panthi, Goniana Mandi and founder Patron of the GTB Educational Trust, Malout. He was pioneer in the field of education. Over 100 educational institutes were kindled by him. His fervent zeal of spreading knowledge and light to millions speaks volumes of his luminous soul. After serving the holy mission of enlightening people, for which he was sent by the Almighty, Mahant Baba Tirath Singh Ji handed over the task to Mahant Baba Kahan Singh Ji who himself believes in serving the humanity restlessly. He had more than 55 years of association with this noble cause.
