Indian Institute of Technology – IIT Bombay provides a 5 year course of Dual Degree (DD) in all its Engineering departments. This programme is both, Bachelor and Master degree. This means that on completion of this course, a student is awarded two degrees.
Indian Institute of Technology – IIT Bombay is among the seven higher Institutes of Technology in India set up with the aim of higher education, research and training in different fields of Science and Technology. The Institute on an average admits 500 students for the bachelor’s degree through Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), 100 students for M.Sc. programmes, 550 students for other postgraduate programmes and 110 for Ph.D programmes every year. Academic programs at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay are specially designed to prepare the students with skills and necessary training so that they are ready to enter their field of interest.
