Indus College of Engineering – Bhubaneswar was established in the year 2007 to fulfill the growing needs for quality engineering education in Orissa and Eastern India. We believe that a good library is one of the greatest assets of a college. The Indus College of Engineering – Bhubaneswar library has a large collection of technical books. In addition, we also have a large collection in English Literature which is essential to help students develop their communication skills. Indus College of Engineering – Bhubaneswar provides separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostels are located in Bhubaneswar city. Workshop practice is an essential part of every engineer's training. Our large and well equipped workshop is designed to make this an interesting and fruitful experience for all students. Our medical center is headed by a Senior Medical Officer to take care of first aid and to provide basic medical amenities to all our students.

The laboratories are well equipped to handle all the experiments of the B.Tech. and MCA courses under BPUT. They have been designed by professionals with vast experience in the area of laboratory training and setup. The wireless LAN makes it possible for any faculty member or student to easily connect to the campus network. Indus College of Engineering – Bhubaneswar maintains a strong interest in open source software and will endeavor to promote and provide open source software because of its appropriateness for a developing country like India. Every student is provided a CD containing the latest versions of open source software. They will be trained in the use of these software tools.
