All students are encouraged to use the computers extensively for their project work and assignments. Free access to internet is extensive to the students enabling them to be well informed and updated about the textiles industry and management around the world. The computer facilities include Local Area Networked Workstations with Internet access to all machines with Windows and Linux Operating System environments. The laboratory is equipped with state of art Textile and Garment Design facilities, 3D, Print CAD, development Softwares like Visual Studio, etc. All activities related to Information Technology and Digital Documentation is coordinated by the IT centre.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textile and Management-SVPITM is in the process of building up adequate infrastructure with large and spacious class rooms, air-conditioned seminar halls, besides recreation facilities like indoor games etc. for the students. The Institute has a well-equipped library with a large collection of books on textile and management oriented subjects. WEBOPAC facility is available for browsing all the database of the library. Excluding books, the library is also having a collection of Audio/Video Cassettes, CDROM, Conference proceedings, Project Reports etc. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textile and Management-SVPITM also subscribes EBSCO and Capitaline database for the enhancement of the students. The Library & Information Center of SVPISTM came into existence from the inception of the Institute. Since this is SVPISTM the only textile Institute which provides Management Studies under Textile field, the Library and Information Center serves the faculty, staff and the students with world-class information related to textile and management studies with good collection of Books, Journals, CD-ROMs, Online resources etc. To enhance the user satisfaction the Library adopts LIBSYS software in library automation with quality professionals to serve the users.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textile and Management-SVPITM will be providing hostel facilities (Boarding only) for Boys and Girls in the leased premises. The furnished rooms have two cots, fan, two tables and two chairs and are of 10’ x 10’in size with twin sharing basis and 25 to 30 in number. The rooms have necessary amenities. Preferably located in the Peelamedu area. The catering for the proposed hostel for Boys and Girls having a capacity of 50 students each (Total 100 students) is also proposed. The Institute will provide space, water/electricity and rest of the catering equipments, dining tables, chairs etc. will be provided by the caterer.

A separate Placement Cell is in place which is in constant touch with the leading textile manufacturing companies; export units, overseas buying houses, etc., and invite them for campus recruitment. The placement office with all necessary infrastructures at the Institute consists of two Placement coordinators each from faculty and students. The Committee meets often for planning and scheduling the placement activities.
