The Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences - SIHS Pune is associated with major tertiary care hospitals of the city to provide the necessary “hands on” clinic and Para clinical experience, necessary for the students pursuing this hospital based academic programmes. A formal Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the major private as well as governmental hospitals for the same.

To quote a few: The Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Medical Services (PGDEMS) Course is recognized by the Los Angeles Paramedic Training Institute, USA. The American Heart Association (AHA) USA has conferred upon the institute, the coveted title of an International Training Organization (ITO). It is also a recognized “Chapter” of the International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Organization, USA. This is recognized by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), USA. The programme in Fitness Management is in academic collaboration with the apex sports institute of the country Sports Authority of India (SAI).

Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences - SIHS Pune assists in securing accommodation for outstation students. The facilities are available in close proximity to the campus and students are charged a nominal fee. The Foreign Students' Cell, in turn, assists foreign students in all their accommodation requirements. SIHS will soon be moving to a sprawling new campus that will be the envy of educational institutes in the city. The in-house facilities include a 600-seater modern auditorium and a modern conference hall located at Vishwa Bhavan. An all day cafeteria ensures refreshments for busy minds.

SIHS has a team of specialist doctors who conduct the annual health check up. Each student is insured under the Mediclaim and Road Traffic Accident Policy. SIHS also provides an in-house modern state-of-the-art health club & fitness centre with a view to facilitate a holistic development of mind and body. The Centre thus provides preventive, primitive as well as curative health care services with a view to ensure Positive Health in all members of the Symbiosis Family.
The yoga facility that the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences - SIHS Pune offers provide a refreshing interlude for the students. A trained yoga teacher puts the students through their meditative paces. The facility has been well appreciated by the students and is reflected in the focus and concentration levels attained by them. It is not all work at SIHS.
