United Institute of Technology – UIT Coimbatore is located in G.Koundampalayam, Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The College is located 3 kms away from the town in the rural area of Periyanaickenpalayam, surrounded by the scenic beauty at the foothills of Western Ghats. The campus is well established in around 10 acres with excellent infrastructure. Computing facility at United Institute of Technology – UIT Coimbatore consists of 198 P4 computers spread across three labs. Here, students work in high level programming languages such as C, C++, VB, VC++, Java and COBOL. Equipped with Workstations from IBM, the lab is specifically used for multimedia programming. It focuses on training students in multimedia tools like Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Sound Forge and Maya to develop related applications. Specific multimedia hardware kits are used for multimedia programming and demonstration.
Library of United Institute of Technology – UIT Coimbatore is a heart of the any institution. The UIT Central Library has a modern central library with 8,341 volumes of technical books. The library subscribes to 87 technical periodicals including National and International, plus 10 General Magazines at National and International Levels as print copies to cover a wide range of subjects to facilitate users to access current academic and research literature.
