In April 2016 I signed a monthly contract. I received a SMS two days ago stating that my renewal is up and I will be debited for R7767 on the 1/9/2016. I never instructed DSTV to change my contract from monthly to annual. I visited the DSTV durban office this morning and they could not assist me as the mag tape has already gone through. They could not understand how or who changed my details. How their problem has become my problem without me even doing anything. The only way this can be sorted out was if I go to the bank and put a stop payment on this amount. DSTV you created the problem. Take accountability for your actions and resolve the problem not by pasing the buck over to the client. This is truly unacceptable.

COMPLAINT My PVR decoder is faulty and our local DStv agency in Vryheid, KZN said they can not assist, I must call the call center and obtain a voucher to replace my PVR because it can not be repaired. The call centre said that the local agency MUST assist me. After the 3rd visit to the agency they eventually said that they will replace the PVR with an Explorer, but a new agreement had to be signed and all the details regarding my husband's bank account number and fica documents had to be supplied. I already have an Explorer, the PVR was the second decoder. Why do I have to complete a new agreement. The service at the local agency was disgustingly poor. I can not believe that staff with such a lack of people skills and product knowledge is appointed. They need training drastically because they do not seem to know what is going on. I must say that the local Dstv agency is the one place that I hope I never have to visit again.
