We have prepaid rupees 699 for a annual subscription of HT. Few days ago the vendor stopped delivering the newspaper and now he is demanding a delivery charge. We have received the paper for only six months. A call to the customer care number of HT is useless. They keep you on hold and transfer the call meaninglessly and then they hang up on you. Please avoid buying the annual subscription. This is a scam. We have given up on HT.

Newspaper HT is not being supplied at C-19/14(GF) though Deepak News Agency (8802558000)has received six coupons (Aug'14 to Jan. 2015) along with delivery charge of Rs180/-@ 30/- a month. Mr. Aman who is the concerned HT media representative knows the case. Both the Vendor and HT media Aman are hand in glove to harass me. I paid delivery charges despite the fact I was told by your customer care executive - not payable by me. But even after payment newspaper has not started. Both do not respond to my phone calls. Kindly help me as I am retired govt Officer aged 82 and living all alone. The Vendor is demanding coupons and delivery charges for the whole year in advance. Please solve this problem of mine. I have recently renewed my annual subscription for Hindustan Times and we have no newspaper delivered to our home since Tuesday. Despite follow ups with our newspaper vendor he has categorically informed that due to payment dispute with local HT distributor. He has stopped circulation of HT newspaper. This has happened twice last year too and i had lodged a complaint that took two weeks to resolve. I was assured this time while renewing the subscription that this will not happen again. The local newspaper rep Deepak, who had come to my place to collect the cheque has stopped taking my calls now. This is a lapse again and again in your distribution network and i am ruing the fact that i have renewed my subscription despite earlier experiences just because i like reading HT instead of TOI. Apropos to my telephonic complaint number 1508. Dated 8th of October 2014, this is fifth reminder for the same, on telephone and also from the email regarding the non-delivery of the newspaper since 3rd October. For your kind information i have subscribe for the yearly scheme of rupees 499 for the Hindustan Times newspapers for twelve months. Your representative MR Deepak had come to my flat eight b, jnu aravali apartments, plot number 5, sector 56, Gurgaon 122011 and collected the cheque for rupees 499. Cheque number 494415 dated 26th of October 2013 Hindustan Times serial number is 1657054. After several remainders and complains my newspaper started from 4th of December 2013 and i am told it will be for one year means till 3th of December 2014. Why it is suddenly stopped since 3rd of October 2014 ? This is a mental torture.
Please resolve the problem immediately on priority basis.
