My step dad has a 10MC02 shredder that he inserted a greeting card with a musical device inside it and stripped the gears on it and the motor continues to run, but of course it no longer shreds. I do not know what posseed him to do such a thing, but he did. Is there any hope for this machine, or is there a shop nearby where we can have it repaired?.

Greetings, I have an Ativa ten SHEET MICROCUT SHREDDER MODEL NUMBER 10MC02 that is in need of repair. Do you have a repair shop near my home in San Francisco, California that I can take my machine to get repaired? Please advise me on this as this is a very good machine and was hardly used, but something was run through it that didn't shred. Thank You.
