Tried to do internet banking many times and could not get beyond registration point. On 15/11/19 around 23PM(UK time) contacted phone banking and I was told that my OTP is blocked and would take24 hours to sort out the OTP problem on registered Mobile and email. Today tried thee times and was getting OTP only on mobile, but not on email. In the past I had many problems Sep-Oct 2018 for opening PIS account with some body called Kumar Jha (KG Marg N Delhi) who was demanding more than 15 copies of KYC(each documents to be attached with copies (all together appox 45 - 50 pages of KYC)- details can be seen on my earlier email-jchandra7@yahoo. Co. Uk). Ultimately I dropped the idea of PIS account with your bank. I think this bank is run by some idiots and better to close the bank accounts as have
got too many clients to take care. Tell me the procedure how to wind up my relationship with this bank.

In September 2018, I had to get my password reset for online banking so went thru the process, found OTP coming on my registered mobile device, but not on my email id. Reported that issue to customer care in September and after multiple follow-ups and calls it was identified that somehow HDFC has one extra character for my email ID so i requested to correct it. T I was told that i never requested for online banking so asked to send e-Age form to new york PO box which i did. Eached out to my relationship manager Jaswinder Singh as well as Mozafar Eqbal multiple times, but seems they are not bothered about it. Its highly frustrating and i have no doubt that this is the worst bank i ever been to so going to close my account for sure and would discourage all my friends to stay away from it.

Difficult to contact customer service on weekend, long wait time. Customer server representative is in very much hurry to end the call, not answering to the queries, looked like do not have much knowledge or information, and asking again and again to go to the website, find and have a look at the information.
