Nirmalagiri College - Kannur library is the second largest one in Kannur University. It is adjacent to the college main building and is the brainchild of the former Principle Fr.John George Vadakkummoolayil. This august building is in commemoration of the silver jubilee of our college. The foundation stone was laid by Her.Excellency Ram Dulari Sinha, the then Governor of Kerala and was blessed by His Excellency Mar Sebastian Vallopilly, the Patron of the College on 20/07/1988. The newly constructed building was inaugurated by Sri. Mullappally Ramachandran, the former Union Minister for Agriculture and Co-operation and blessed by His Grace Mar.George Valiamattam, the present Patron of the College on 20/1/1992.
The library building is indeed a treasure house of knowledge for the students as well as teachers who are seriously involved in academic pursuits. Nirmalagiri College - Kannur library is with a distinction of its own having the collection of rare books currently totaling 42116; 75 journals & six newspapers in Malayalam, English and Hindi.
