Ms. Erin Ham On Phone To Nuvaring Service
I just called into the 1-877 number and spoke with a man. Speaking with a man, while not desirable on this topic, certainly did not understand my question, which means he did not understand the actual menstrual cycle. Not only an embaressing topic to discuss with him, but then he could not even answer my question correctly. He started asking me questions about my usage and other stuff. NO You do not know me and my question was simple - it had nothing to with me personally or how long I've used the ring. Why is not a woman answering, or even more important, why is not a trained professional?
My question is this:
Is the 21st day of my period with the ring counted from the date I remove it or is it counted from the actual 1st day I start my cycle?
I have to get blood work done on the 21st day and I can not get it done if I'm not fully informed as to when the 21st day is. By the way, his answer was "it would simply be 21 days from when I put the ring in. ".
I have a question I took my Nuvaring out Monday and I am on the 5th day of my period. My boyfriend and I want to have sex in two days. Am I able to put the ring in and still be protected?.
