It seems the lack of customer service is standard. I purchased at watch a little more then a year ago and recently sent it in for warranty due to losing time and stopping. I believe your policy of continuing to charge you for the warranty work. With this kind of service on instruments for professionals means less the top rate service. This is my second email no response to the first. Your representative at the Breightling store was understanding and did try to help. I just sent my Breitling in for service, it is under warranty until 9/2016. The watch was losing a little time and stopping sometimes. I was told that it would not be covered due to the back cover was lose. I find that my first contact with your service to be extremely disrespectful insinuating that I tampered with the watch. I purchased the watch from a reputable company Diamonds International and other then sending it for service it has not been out of my sight. It Seems like this is just a scam to offer a two year warranty and if you have to use it you just claim that the watch was tampered with and charge the customer for the repairs. Prior to this experience this watch had become my favorite. I would say that after I have to deal with sending the watch in for "warranty" or lack of warranty i think a lot leas of this watch. One of my other favorite watches that I have owned since 2003 has worked perfectly from purchase.

To BREITLING customer service, My wife purchased (Breitling W-BR-CHAC-ST-BRS-BK-FC Chronomat) as anniversary gift for me four years ago. I have enjoyed wearing it and received a lot of compliments, in addition I was very careful with it. It was never dropped and kept in the box when not in use. About six months ago it suddenly stopped working. I took it to the Breitling watch repair place and was told that the balance is broken and it needs a new balance. The new balance and repair would be very expensive and I am asking you for guidance and hope for compassion of extended warranty. Your understanding and assistance is greatly appreciated. I mailed in a check and letter to authorize service and weeks later they still could not find them. I sent them a picture of the cashed check. They were able to track the check down, but still could not find the letter authorizing service. Not you to par for the breitling company. What is going on at the service center.
