History
The company is the subsidiary of Nsight and has been in operations since mid-1980s. Its parent company, Nsight was set up in 1910 as the communication services for Pulaski community. In its earlier days, Nsight was known as Pulaski Merchant and Farmers Telephone Company and was renamed to Northeast Telephone Company in 1968. The 1980's saw the incorporation of the company as Northeast Communications, Inc. In 1999, Nsight was incorporated as the subsidiary of Northeast Communications and is the owner of Cellcom, Nsight Tower and Nsight Telservices brand.
Accolades and Recognization
Cellcom is credited as the first company to join an organization to develop femtocell across the world for covering the remote areas in the network zone.
