Shivalik College of Education was established in the year of November 2007 by Krishna Education Society. It provide quality education to the students of residence of Sabapur and adjoining areas. Education Society was constituted to run a Professional Degree College in Sabapur to spread education and Instruction in all its forms & branches among the boys, Girls and adults of all the castes and religions. The students of Shivalik College of Education have made us proud by making their presence felt in the whole nation in the field of academics ,sports , social and cultural activities. As we all know it is only a teacher who prepares nation builders hence our Krishna Education Society decided to contribute for the noble cause to produce, creative, innovative, efficient and zealous teachers for which we have proposed to open a college of education which will impart education for D.Ed. which we intend to start after the approval from NCTE, Jaipur.
The Shivalik College of Education has Land Area in sq. mt : 3035 sq.mt. with a unique campus. The college has a compact and beautiful building with spacious and well ventilated rooms. Shivalik College of Education has a well established library which caters to the need of the students, research scholars and the faculty. The Library has separate reference section/journals section, reading room. It has fully equipped with all essential facilities such as, adequate seating arrangement of about 50 students, magazine rack, newspaper stand, sufficient educational technology equipments, catalog box etc. The library is equipped with a very large number of books on education in particular and general subjects too. The library has a very rich collection to reference books, encyclopedias on educational research. There is a computer based catalogue system that provides information on the availability of books, journals and other material. The library aims to stock all the books and periodicals which the students are required to read while studying at the college. Separate fully equipped and spacious Labs are provided to the students and staff to develop their manipulative skills.
Shivalik College of Education having 4 classrooms with adequate sitting capacity and of the bigger dimensions than that required under statuary norms laid down for infrastructure facilities. Each classroom is fully equipped with proper electric connections, display boards, blackboards and arrangements for A/V aids projection. The Canteen facilities within the premises of the college have been provided having availability of the most hygienic and nourished food items. The institute has own playground with all kind of indoor and outdoor games. There is also medical facilities available in the college whenever required.
