Shri Baba Mast Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research is all set to emerge as a “Centre for Excellence in Pharmacy Education”. At present, the institute offers four year full time Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) programme. This course is fully approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), HRD ministry, New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
The Shri Baba Mast Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research has a fully air conditioned most modern and spacious computer centre fitted with latest model to computer system loaded with latest software packages and with internet facilities. The centre extends latest training to the Pharmacy students for efficient and effective implementation of their knowledge. The institute is having a well equipped library block which houses more than three thousand pharmacy books and subscribes to around 20 periodicals (Indian as well as foreign) for the benefits of the students. It extends the photocopying facility at subsidized rates. In addition to the books and journals, the library has a very rich collection of approx. 25 video cassettes on various pharmacy topics. The institute has a well furnished multi storied hostel adjacent to the institute’s building separate for the boys and girls.
The approach of studies in the Shri Baba Mast Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research is very participative and interactive. Teaching methodology includes lectures, seminars, projects, audio visual aids and guest lectures by eminent academicians/working executives. The students are given extensive practical knowledge by performing experiments on ultra modern equipments/instruments in the well built laboratories of this institute. At the same time, the institute is not lagging behind in adoption of state of art of teaching aids like the use of audio visual aids, over head projector, modern electronic teaching aids and also have sun mica white boards, markers etc. The institute also organizes the industrial visit for the students at regular intervals.
The Shri Baba Mast Nath Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research is having an active Training and Placement cell headed by a senior faculty member who manages training and placement for the students in the various reputed organizations. The cell makes arrangements for the campus interviews as well as recommends the students to the organizations for the summer placements and final placements. The cell is constantly interacting with the industry to provide our talents for their use.
